Sustaining Restorative Justice: Exploring Innovative Funding Approaches Webinar

The September webinar hosted by the Zehr Institute for Restorative Justice will take place:

September 26, 2018
4:30PM to 6:00PM*

For decades, the work of RJ has been caught in the vicious cycles of the “NGO-industrial-complex” where disconnected, local programs competed for small pots of money and barely survived as they crawled from one short-term funding cycle to another. However, the RJ funding landscape is beginning to change. As the current RJ movement gains a life of its own, both practitioners and funders alike are asking new questions about long-term funding and large-scale impact.

This webinar will center the voices of creative RJ funders who are boldly envisioning the reach of RJ within every sector of society, and exploring powerful new ways of funding the justice needs of all. The webinar will feature Aleah Bacquie Vaughn, Founding Director of the Criminal Justice Initiative (CJI), and Seth Weiner, a restorative justice enthusiast and advocate based in New York City.
