Restorative Justice Initiative's next community-building Circle for school-based restorative and transformative justice practitioners will convene on Wednesday, June 20 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at 505 Eighth Avenue (Manhattan), Floor 12A.
This Circle is facilitated by rotating Circle-keepers. It's a space to meet and learn from fellow RJ/RP/TJ practitioners in schools throughout the city, to offer and receive support, to process the day-to-day challenges, celebrate the successes, and build capacity to advocate for change.
Going forward, each Circle will focus on a particular topic, theme or question.* This circle we'll focus on teen dating violence and gender-based violence in schools. We will be joined by two special guests from the Center for Court Innovation and the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence. Please come prepared to share your questions and experiences.
Whether you've attended one of our Circles in the past or not, we'd like to hear from you about how we can best support you in your work. Please take a few minutes to respond to this short survey. Thanks!
We hope to see you on the 20th.
Please RSVP here.
Circles will be held on the third Wednesday of each month. Upcoming dates include: 7/18, 8/15, 9/19, 10/17, 11/14 and 12/19. Please mark your calendars!
