The NYC Domestic Violence Task Force, operated by the Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence and Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, launched by Mayor de Blasio in November 2016, was charged with developing a comprehensive Citywide strategy to address one of the most urgent challenges facing our City. Thanks to the efforts of City agencies, non-profit organizations and domestic violence survivors, in 2017, the DVTF announced 32 new initiatives with $11 million in City funding to reduce violence and enhance the safety and wellbeing of survivors of domestic violence and their families. You can read the May DVTF recommendations HERE and the press release for additional recommendations funded in October HERE

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This event is open and welcome to all, but space is limited.
