Organizers of the Restorative Approach and Social Innovation: From Theoretical Grounds to Sustainable Practices international conference have announced a call for papers. The conference will take place:

November 7 through 8, 2018
University of Padova, Padova, Italy

The conference will address different topics in the contemporary debate on restorative justice with a focus on anthropological and philosophical points of view. The general aim is to show how the key elements of Restorative Justice can represent valuable tools to deal with the matters of our everyday lives. In these terms, the RestorativeParadigm would lead to a restorative way of living life.

This interdisciplinary conference will host many national and international experts on the subject. The organizers are seeking  contributions that address the paradigm of restorative justice from its theoretical focal points to its possible applications within the legal system as well as other contexts. Those interested in presenting original contributions should submit an abstract in English (2000 words max). Every selected author will be granted 20 minutes for presentation, plus 10 minutes for Q&A. 

Contributions related to the philosophical and anthropological roots of restorative justice will be given highest priority. 

Submission should include:

  1. Author’s name and surname;
  2. Institution;
  3. Email address;
  4. Abstract's title;
  5. Abstract’s text in English (2000 words all included)

Abstracts should be sent to  by August 3rd, 2018. Notification of acceptance (or refusal) will be communicated within three weeks after the deadline of the call for papers.
